The Third Blue Mountains Philosophy Conference
The Third Blue Mountains Philosophy Conference was held on the sunny day day of 11.11.01. It was attended by twelve individuals. Four papers were read. Unfortunately, through a lack of time, a fifth paper on the subject of terrorism could not be read by Michael von Brasch. The first paper titled: Can Husserlian Phenomenology be Compatible with any Form of Traditional Idealism and Traditional Realism? was read by Luciana O'Dwyer. The second paper, read by Noel Tointon, was titled: Psychiatric Dis(-)ease. The third paper was read by Lindsay Mell and was titled: Beyond Pragmatic Dogma - Relative Autonomy and Authenticity. The last paper, a general overview and critique of the philosophy of Whitehead (and some of his critics) was read by Mary Harnett. Links to/files for these papers will be supplied above/below as these papers come to hand.
