The Third Blue Mountains Philosophy Conference was held on the sunny day day of 11.11.01. It was attended by twelve individuals. Four papers were read. Unfortunately, through a lack of time, a fifth paper on the subject of terrorism could not be read by Michael von Brasch. The first paper titled: Can Husserlian Phenomenology be Compatible with any Form of Traditional Idealism and Traditional Realism? was read by Luciana O'Dwyer. The second paper, read by Noel Tointon, was titled: Psychiatric Dis(-)ease. The third paper was read by Lindsay Mell and was titled: Beyond Pragmatic Dogma - Relative Autonomy and Authenticity. The last paper, a general overview and critique of the philosophy of Whitehead (and some of his critics) was read by Mary Harnett. Links to/files for these papers will be supplied above/below as these papers come to hand. |
